Introduction
Broth is a flavouring product used to prepare soups, clear soups or other foods.

Normally, it is presented in tablets that weigh about 9-10 grs. These products are sold normally in units of two.
The most commonly used flavour may vary depending on the country or the season of the year.
The most consumed products are:
-Chicken and meat (Europe and USA).
-Lamb (Africa and Asia).
-Fish (Asia)
-Etc...

Eventhough the most common presentation of broth is in the form of tablets, it can also be found in powder. Powdered broth is most commonly used in the restaurant industry.
Broth should or should not contain natural extracts of the product depending on the legislation of each country.

The GROUP CARINSA could supply you with a sample formulation of these products for its presentation in tablets or powder. However, we can also supply others in different form, with other flavours that adjust to the local legislations, etc.

In order to evaluate the quality of the products, we recommend verifying the following characteristics:
-Smell and taste stability under cooking for 15 minutes.
-Identifying the corresponding taste. In these products, the type of smell-taste that constitute the product could be different:
a.The concrete smell of the product (chicken, fish, etc...)
b.The spiced taste, normally adjusted according to the habit and/or to the country.

The GROUP CARINSA could provide you with samples of the final product or the flavour to be tried, evaluated or even varied should it be necessary.
We are prepared to supply, should it be the case, all of our knowledge as well as our technical staff to initiate manufacturing, quality control, etc.

 
Formulation
The following formulation is to manufacture tablet broths of 9.5g.

(*)Observations: 2 tablets for 1 liter of soup.
 
Cost
The cost of raw materials is between 2.75 and 3.84 €/Kg.
The cost of the 9.5 gr. tablet ranges from 0.026-0.036 €.
 
Manufacturing Process
Tablet:
Mix the grease with the curcuma, add the starch and homogenize. Next, add the glutamate, salt and the rest of the components. Homogenize well and press.

Soup:
Disolve 2 tablets in one liter of water and let it boil.

 
Labeled
Chicken, lamb and calf
Salt, palm grease, glutamate (E-621), flavours, starch, hydrolized protein, spices, dyes (E-150) and curcuma.
